You have some questions about the formatting of the emails? The following doc should help you.
When you send an email from the Notion comment section, you can format your text to add links, bold, italic, underlined, colors … Simply select the text in your comment and apply the format you want:

This format will be preserved in Gmail:
Emails from Gmail that are synced with Notion currently lose most of their formatting (colors, underlined, bold, …). However, the links are preserved.
